Review: Of Poseidon by Anna Banks - Hallo friends Dylan Books Review, this is my book review today with the title Review: Of Poseidon by Anna Banks, this is my thought about books I read. Hopefully it can be useful and as references to you before buying books. May books review Label Best Books, Label Book Collection, book Review: Of Poseidon by Anna Banks, can give you little information before putting it at your reading list. Happy reading.
I'm unsure about how to feel about this book. I wanted to read it because of the gorgeous cover, but the summary really did not sound good to me. Too cheesy. But, then I started reading it and I loved it. Then, of course, some issues arrived and I hated it. So I'm conflicted.

The story actually starts out amazing, with a huge tragedy. And I loved it all. It's extremely exciting. But then, through the rest of the book, it's like that tragedy never happened. And that, to me, was not acceptable. Thought it shouldn't have been forgotten; what happened.

But even though that horrible but sort of awesome thing is forgotten, the story is still amazing. I'm loving it so much. The plot in this book is really, really good. It is so exciting, and it feels sort of real too. In an un-real way. But I enjoyed it so much.

And the characters are amazing. I loved Galen so much, he is an amazing person. So kind, and sweet, and handsome and just so awesome. And in the beginning I really liked Emma. She seemed like such an amazing person. But then my view of her changed, and this book turned into a cliché. Sort of. To me, at least, that's what it turned in to. Into everything I hate in a story.

There is this kiss that happens, and I know it should not bother me, but it does. So damn much. And it kills me that it did not bother her at all. And then, later on, the main character, Emma, sort of turns into a cruel person. And I suppose most people understand her, and she had reasons and whatever.

But I did not. She should have tried to understand. She should have talked to him. And she should not have been so cruel. Worst of all, it's HIM that ends up apologizing. She doesn't say a word about how cruel she has been. And that is why I ended up hated her. I may be alone in feeling like that, but I still feel it. And it made me cry. Not any good tears.

But, anyway, back to the story. Something seems to always be happening, and I liked that. The story is really exciting most of the time. There are other characters in this book too, important ones. But I didn't like them. Not really. They might have been awesome, but they sort of ruined some things for me. But they were important to the story.

I could have loved the romance in this book. And I did, at first. In the beginning. Before all the stupid, unnecessary drama happened. And then it just went over in the end, and everything was suddenly okay. Didn't like that. Should have been more, and better written. But still, I loved the story, and I loved Galen, and I loved the writing in this book. It all captured me.

You really should read this book when it comes out, because it is good. And I don't think many will have the issues I had. But still, I had issues with it, and my feelings towards that won't change. Also, the ending is cruel. It just suddenly ends, and I didn't like that. But it does make me very excited for book two :) Thanks to NetGalley and Macmillan Children's Publishing Group for the ARC of this book :)
